Why I Chose Kayla Itsines Workout Guide and How I Lost 36.5 Pounds in 6 Months…
Why am I so chunky? Why haven’t I lost the baby fat like Mom said I would? Why are all my roommates so thin?
That’s what I was thinking every time I looked into the mirror at my chubby face, flabby tummy and thick legs. I preferred to call my legs thick instead of stout: it just sounded better.
Truth to be told, I never had to think of diet before I got to college but this time I sure felt like I had to do something.

In short, what I’m saying is that I didn’t really lose any weight.

I decided to make losing weight my New Year’s resolution upon my return to the university and away from Mom’s lasagna.

Instead of starving you to death, she starts you off with a 5-meal a day BBG diet plan with suggestions for substitutions that will please your taste buds as well as offer you a plenty of easy-to-follow recipes.
The workout section starts with the simplest and least difficult exercises along with short workouts that anyone can do.
She focuses on form as well as technique. Plus, the glossary makes it easy to find the exercise you want to do with step-by-step pictures for each one.
I had planned to start the program when I went back to school and got so excited about the possibilities that I wanted to test it out right away.
I could no longer wait. I secretly started with the first exercise that night in the privacy of my room.
I continued to follow that part of the program and pursued the dietary plan as much as I could under my mother’s roof.
I don’t know if it was the fact that I didn’t have to avoid food or the lack of pressure to “lose weight” but right away, it was easy for me to make it a regular habit.
By the time I returned to school – which was in early-February – my clothes were looser and my body looked better.

My Bikini Body Guide Program Results
Ok, I promised you that I’d show you an old picture taken before I start the bikini body guide program – my before body – ick!
I don’t know how much I lost during in the first 12 weeks that I followed the BBG program but even a blind guy can tell that it was making a difference.
Just as a guess, I’d say I had lost about 20 pounds when the picture below was taken.
